Why Seven Oaks

An Art Lesson

Your child was born brilliant – we aim to keep them that way. Seven Oaks independent primary and secondary school guides each of its students to embrace their own mind, body and imagination to find a purposeful path in life. Our advanced curriculum empowers students to shine on every level – intellectual, practical, spiritual, emotional and social – because their learning is personal, meaningful and, crucially, joyful.

Our goal is to grow the innate brilliance that every child is born with. Seven Oaks is different from other schools in several key ways:

Holistic curriculum The Brilliant Curriculum®  at Seven Oaks is approved by the Ministry of Education. It extends the national curriculum by helping students to develop a clear understanding of themselves and the world around them alongside their academic learning.

Environmental understanding As the future stewards of our planet, we equip our students with knowledge and respect for the principles of nature through our pioneering eco-literacy programme.

Hands-on experiential learning Learning is more meaningful when it is embedded in practical contexts. Our students learn quickly and deeply by engaging in real-world projects, for example, harvesting fruit from our orchards, then transforming and selling it as marketable products.

Social cohesiveness Because life is all about relationships, students focus on developing self-awareness, social skills, emotional wellbeing and the ability to manage conflict successfully to help them on their journey.

Small class sizes With just 15 students per educator, every individual gets a personalised learning plan and works in a non-competitive, supportive environment.

Relaxed atmosphere People learn best when they are at ease, so we have created a positive and caring environment, where everyone’s voice can be heard. There are no uniforms, and everyone is on first name terms.

Low fees We are committed to making Seven Oaks affordable not elitist so work hard to keep fees low.

Open-mindedness We embrace individuality at Seven Oaks – whatever your learning style, abilities, background, ethnicity or beliefs, you’ll receive a warm welcome.

Brilliant teachers Our educators are handpicked for their ability to nurture each student's inner brilliance as well as their academic skills. Student-educator relationships are caring and respectful. Everyone at Seven Oaks is on a first-name basis.
